CodeRED Mobile Alert App Reviews

86 add

Not ready for prime time.

Unable to log in. Screen message says "Authenticating", but then goes nowhere. Cant seem to enable location services after the first start-up sequence of the application.

Cannot log in

When you go to log in, it says "authenticating" and then does nothing. Please fix!! Other than that it seems like a great all to stay informed within your immediate area.

Cannot Sign In

I’m registered with the website. The app authenticates and then nothing. I can sign in over and over again with no results. With more people ditching their home phone for a cellular phone, the app does nothing to help with the transition.

Useless

If you cant sign in to the app its not worth the storage space. I cant believe this hasnt been fixed yet. Too bad theres no zero star.

Cant sign in - dont get it

Just like the other reviews say, you cant sign in. So when you install app just use the skip button. I guess no one manages the app.

Not good

Cant even sign in so whats the point of having the app

A Total Waste

The app will not let you log in, so it is a total waste. Their website is also flakey, and often errors out during the registration process. I hope that when it actually comes to sending out alert notices, that those work better than this app or their website. #epicfail

Needs improvement

Why must I get alerts outside my chosen location radius? Why cant this be turned off?! What good is an alert far far away?!! The test alert sound function doesnt work. Makes me wonder if it works at all - ditto the alert notification.

Codered

I read an article recently about this app/product was was surprised to learn that before I travel for work, I can actually elect to receive or view information about events or emergencies around the country. I interact with this app daily now to stay informed and determine how to be better prepared in my day to day activities. Its easy to use and intuitive

Useless

Using the registration confirmation email they sent me when I signed up, I cannot log in nor am I able to reset my password

Cant sign in-DELETE!!

Well I was really hoping that I would be able to sign in and not have the same problem that other users have had but I couldnt sign in either. It would say authenticate for a second and then do nothing. Cant sign in – app deleted. Fix your app Code Red!!!!! Jeez!!!

Must register to sign in

You have to register to sign in to the mobile app. If you read the FAQs, it tells you that your sign in on the web is NOT the same as the app, they are not linked. I had the same problem until I read that, then I clicked register, set up my info and I was in.

Great so far

To all of you who said you cannot sign in it is not anything wrong with the app. It is you not signing up first. Once you sign up then you can sign in and it works beautifully and all the settings let you have a lot of options including distance and area you want covered and the alert sound you would like to hear among many other options. It is not fair to give an app a terrible review when the problem is with the user.

so worthless

How can an app meant to convey life safety information, where tolerance for error is near-zero, NOT WORK RELIABLY?? It call the entire “CodeRed” whatever-it-is, into question.

Sign in isnt tied to website

It makes no sense that the app account isnt tied to the website account. You have to set them up separately. Crappy system.

Doesnt Work

Signed in; community offers the alert system yet app done anything! Definitely not subscribing.

Would not allow registration

Tried many times. Deleting app.

Good idea but...

Its a great idea, but, it wont allow me to log in. Whats the point of having this app if I cant even log into it?!

Zero alerts

So, it wont show anything for my area, at all. Even when something is going on, zilch, nada, nothing, from this app. Deleted as it is a waste of space.

Unable to Sign In (after registering)

I am able to login to my CodeRED account through the CodeRED website, but I am unable to login through the iPhone app.
